TORONTO – Vancouver singer-songwriter Sarah McLachlan will perform an intimate acoustic set at the TD Toronto Jazz Festival this summer.
Organizers say the three-time Grammy Award winner will take to the stage at the Sony Centre for the Performing Arts on June 24.
She’ll be joined by Melissa McClelland and Luke Doucet.
The festival hasn’t revealed the rest of its lineup yet for its 30th anniversary, but earlier this month it said it was feeling the pinch from the low loonie.
“It has probably eliminated some of the artists that we could look at at the very top end of the fee scale, just because of the exchange rate,” artistic director Josh Grossman told The Canadian Press.
“But otherwise we’re still putting out a great roster.”
Tickets for McLachlan’s show go on sale on Thursday.
