Cardiome Pharma posts 4th-quarter loss of $7.4 million

VANCOUVER – VANCOUVER, British Columbia (AP) _ Cardiome Pharma Corp. (CRME) on Thursday reported a loss of $7.4 million in its fourth quarter.

The Vancouver, British Columbia-based company said it had a loss of 37 cents per share.

The cardiovascular drug maker posted revenue of $4.7 million in the period.

For the year, the company reported that its loss widened to $24.5 million, or $1.34 per share. Revenue was reported as $20.9 million.

The company’s shares closed at $4.63. A year ago, they were trading at $8.83.
