Uranium Energy posts loss of $4.8 million in second quarter

VANCOUVER – VANCOUVER, British Columbia (AP) _ Uranium Energy Corp. (UEC) on Friday reported a loss of $4.8 million in its fiscal second quarter.

The Vancouver, British Columbia-based company said it had a loss of 5 cents per share.

The company’s shares closed at 78 cents. A year ago, they were trading at $1.55.
