More grey, mild weather expected for weekend in Okanagan

KELOWNA – It’s beginning to feel a lot like spring in the Okanagan.

Today, Feb. 16, we can expect to see highs up to 9 Celsius with a 60 per cent of showers throughout the day with wind this morning during a cloudy day, according to Environment Canada. Those showers will continue into the night when a low of 2 C is forecast.

Tomorrow will be a little brighter with a mix of sun and cloud earlier in the day for North and Central Okanagan before clouds roll in. Meanwhile the South Okanagan will be grey the whole day. A high of 8 C is expected for the day and low of 0 C at night.

The weekend will be a bit damper. Saturday will be a grey day with a high of 5 C and periods of rain, which will continue into the night. We’ll see a low of 2 C overnight.

Sunday will be similar, with cloudy skies, a chance of showers and a high of 6 C during the day followed by a low of 1 C at night.
