Aurinia Pharmaceuticals posts loss of $4.1 million in 4th quarter

VICTORIA – VICTORIA, British Columbia (AP) _ Aurinia Pharmaceuticals Inc. (AUPH) on Friday reported a loss of $4.1 million in its fourth quarter.

On a per-share basis, the Victoria, British Columbia-based company said it had a loss of 13 cents. Losses, adjusted for non-recurring gains, were 16 cents per share.

The biotechnology company posted revenue of $57,000 in the period.

For the year, the company reported that its loss widened to $18.6 million, or 58 cents per share. Revenue was reported as $235,000.

In the final minutes of trading on Friday, the company’s shares hit $3.04. A year ago, they were trading at $4.80.
