Pop superstar Prince announces two last-minute Toronto shows this Friday
TORONTO – Prince will take the stage in Toronto this Friday for two newly announced shows.
A post on Prince’s official Twitter account revealed Wednesday that the pop superstar would perform at the Sony Centre for the Performing Arts on Friday.
The shows are slated to take place at 7 and 10 p.m. and are part of Prince’s “Piano & A Microphone” tour.
Concert attendees will receive a copy of Prince’s new album while leaving the venue.
The artist’s latest tour started on Jan. 21 at his Paisley Park recording studio near Minneapolis.
Tickets for the Toronto shows will go on sale Thursday morning.
