ROCKFORD, Ill. – Brett Connolly had two goals and an assist, leading the Rockford IceHogs to a 5-3 win over the Manitoba Moose in American Hockey League play on Wednesday.
Lukas Reichel, Josiah Slavin and Andrei Altybarmakian also scored for the Hogs (27-23-4) and Alec Regula contributed three assists.
The Moose (33-18-5) got a pair of goals from Nicholas Jones and a single from Mikey Eyssimont.
It was a busy night in net for Rockford’s Arvid Soderblom, who stopped 37-of-40 shots.
Arvid Holm made 11 saves for Manitoba, who fell to 14-12-3 on the road this season.
The Moose struggled with the man advantage, going 0 for 4 on the power play, while the IceHogs were 1 for 2.
