
VIDEO: Winner of Kamloops Independent Short Shorts awards shares project
KAMLOOPS – The winner of the Kamloops Independent Short Shorts festival has put the short video online.
Japneet Singh took home the top jurors prize and audience award for the short film 1920 Kamloops, a three and a half minute video, at the short film portion of the Kamloops Film Festival on Sunday, March 5.
The video, which has no dialogue, features a pair of actors and is shot at locations around Kamloops.
It bested more than a dozen other competitors at Sunday’s event, March 5, where local film makers showed off homemade films.
Singh is a photographer and university student with filmmaking experience in England, according to his website.
