Pearl Jam, Nine Inch Nails, DJ Calvin Harris to perform at La.’s Voodoo Festival

NEW ORLEANS – The rock band Nine Inch Nails is making its first public appearance since 2009 at this year’s Voodoo Music + Arts Experience in New Orleans.

The band’s lead singer, Trent Reznor, is a former New Orleans resident who was given keys to the city when the band played a free, post-Hurricane Katrina concert at Voodoo Fest in 2005. Nine Inch Nails has played the festival three times previously.

Organizers said Monday that this will be Pearl Jam’s first time at Voodoo and their first show in the city since 2010.

The festival turns 15 this year. It’s scheduled for Nov. 1-3, the weekend after Halloween, at New Orleans City Park.

The lineup also includes Scottish disc jockey Calvin Harris, Bassnectar, Paramore, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Afrojack and Robert DeLong.
