Canadian Home Builders' Association Central Interior and Thompson Rivers University Trades and Technology were Gold Award winners on Saturday, March 11, at the 25th Anniversary Georgie Awards® Gala in Vancouver.
The winners were announced by emcee Todd Talbot, co-host of Love It or List It Vancouver, in front of a sold-out crowd of more than 600 industry professionals.
CHBA Central Interior and TRU won the category Best Public-Private Partnership for the 2016 Training House project which was sponsored and presented by Wendy Acheson, Vice-President and Registrar, Licensing and Consumer Services, BC Housing.
The Georgie Awards® is an annual awards program presented by the Canadian Home Builders' Association on British Columbia. The awards are recognized provincially and nationally as a premier housing awards program that highlights excellence in home building and renovation in the province.
"We are particularly thrilled that our Training House Project, a long time partnership with Thompson Rivers University School of Trades & Technology, continues to be recognized as a unique initiative at the provincial level", said Rob Lemire President of CHBA Central Interior.
The Canadian Home Builders' Association Central Interior is a vibrant active local of 200 members: builders, contractors, developers and professionals related to residential construction – the voice of the residential construction for the Interior BC region.
