LONDON, Ont. – Jacqueline Gaudet scored four goals as the Cambridge Turbos defeated the Gloucester Devils 5-3 to defend their National Ringette league title Saturday.
“Gloucester is a good team and we respected them, but we knew we had the talent to execute our gameplan,” Gaudet said after the game.
The Ottawa Ice received the bronze medal
Guelph edged Ontario 2-1 to capture the under-19 division. Alberta secured the bronze medal by downing the Nepean Ravens 6-3.
Megane Fortin, Delphine Agular and Gabriele Lefebvre had the goals to lead Quebec past Rive Sud 3-2 in the under-16 final. Ontario earned the bronze medal with a 3-2 overtime win over Mantioba’s BVRA Angels.
