Centennial Outdoor Rink revitalization project begins Thursday

Work to revitalize the Centennial Outdoor Rink will begin on Thursday, March 23, with the demolition of the boards, fencing and lighting poles.

The demolition will take place from March 23 to March 27.

While demolition work is underway, access around the rink will be restricted for safety reasons.

Visitors to the Recreation Centre are asked to avoid the area and use alternative entrances.

The project to revitalize the Centennial was approved by Vernon Council in June of 2016.
