Grain futures mixed, beef prices fall

CHICAGO – Grains futures were mixed Friday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for May delivery was flat at $7.0125 a bushel; May corn fell 3.25 cents to $6.42 a bushel; May oats were flat at $3.945 a bushel; while May soybeans fell 3.50 cents to $14.20 a bushel.

Beef prices fell, while pork prices rose on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

June live cattle slipped 0.03 cent to $1.2287 a pound; May feeder cattle fell 0.15 cent to $1.4205 a pound; June lean hogs added 0.48 cent to 92.30 cents a pound.
