Police: Man fatally shoots girlfriend with crossbow
PHILADELPHIA – Police say they’ve arrested a man who fatally shot his girlfriend with a crossbow in Philadelphia.
The 42-year-old woman was shot once in the chest Sunday night. She later died at a hospital.
Officers have arrested a 40-year-old man who they say was her boyfriend.
WCAU-TV reports police say they had been called to the home in the past for domestic incidents.
They have not identified the victim or the suspect.
No further details were immediately available.
