Book on BlackBerry by Jacquie McNish, Sean Silcoff wins National Business Book Award
TORONTO – Jacquie McNish and Sean Silcoff are the winners of the National Business Book Award.
The business writers were awarded the $30,000 prize for “Losing the Signal: The Spectacular Rise and Fall of BlackBerry.”
The other finalists were: “Mass Disruption: Thirty Years on the Front Lines of a Media Revolution” by former Globe and Mail editor John Stackhouse (Random House Canada), and “The Inequality Trap: Fighting Capitalism Instead of Poverty” by William Watson (University of Toronto Press).
CBC chief correspondent Peter Mansbridge chaired the jury, which included William Dimma, Deirdre McMurdy, David Denison, Anna Porter and Pamela Wallin.
