Westport Innovations reports first-quarter loss, revenue down from year ago

VANCOUVER – Westport Innovations Inc. (TSX:WPT), which keeps its books in U.S. dollars, said Thursday it lost US$31.8 million or 57 cents per share for the quarter ended March 31 compared with a loss of $22.6 million or 44 cents per share a year ago. Revenue totalled $30.1 million, down from $36 million.
