Several sex charges laid against B.C. teacher involving a young girl
ABBOTSFORD, B.C. – An Abbotsford teacher is facing several sex charges involving a young girl.
Const. Ian MacDonald says 36-year-old Tanner Cervo is accused of one count of sexual assault, one of sexual interference and two of sexual exploitation.
He says all the allegations involve a young person who came forward last fall and relate to incidents said to have occurred more than a year ago.
MacDonald also says there may be other victims.
The Abbotsford school district has issued a statement saying it takes the matter very seriously and Cervo has not been teaching since last year. (CKNW)
