EDMONTON – A man has been found guilty of first-degree murder and robbery in the deaths of two Edmonton Mac’s convenience store workers.
Laylin Delorme, 27, is one of three people who were charged in the Dec. 18, 2015, crime.
The victims, Karanpal Singh Bhangu and Ricky Cenabre, were beaten and shot during the robberies.
Bhangu, 35, had recently emigrated from India.
Cenabre, 41, had come to Canada five years earlier from the Philippines.
First-degree murder carries an automatic life sentence. (CTV Edmonton, The Canadian Press)
