Boston Pizza Royalties Income Fund says franchise sales up from year ago

VANCOUVER – Boston Pizza Royalties Income Fund (TSX:BPF.UN) said Thursday it lost $752,000 or five cents per unit for the quarter ended March 31 compared with a loss of $6.9 million or 47 cents per unit a year ago. Franchise sales by restaurants in the royalty pool were $186.3 million, down from $176.6 million a year ago.
