More than three dozen passengers were taken to hospital following a commercial-bus crash near Merritt.
The Logan Lake RCMP responded to a single-vehicle collision early Monday morning on Highway 5 involving a commercial coach bus. An estimated 40 passengers and the bus driver were taken to Kamloops Royal Inland Hospital as a precautionary measure.
The bus had gone off the road and rolled on its side. Investigators determined that the driver may have had trouble moving around a stalled vehicle that was blocking the northbound slow lane.
The RCMP and the BC Commercial Vehicle Safety Inspectors are continuing the investigation.
