Nicola Moruzzi is the writer and director of the historical documentary Revelstoke: A Kiss in the Wind.
Nicola and Producer Leonardo Baraldi embarked and documented their journey from Italy to Vancouver and through Kamloops, the Selkirk Mountains and Revelstoke.
Nicola Moruzzi’s great grandfather worked and lived in the early 1900s, earning a living as a crew member building the Canadian Pacific.
Based on old love letters to his great grandmother, they retrace and envision Nicola’s great grandfather’s journey from Italy and building the railway from east of Kamloops to Revelstoke.
Both Nicola Moruzzi and Leonardo Baraldi will be in attendance at the screening on May 10 at 7 p.m. at Paramount Theatre Kamloops.
