Green leader returns to Kamloops and Kelowna today for rallies

KAMLOOPS – B.C. Green Party leader Andrew Weaver is once again visiting the Thompson-Okanagan region.

Crossing the province on the campaign trail, the leader of the provincial Green party and MLA for Oak Bay-Gordon Head in Victoria is making stops in Kamloops and Kelowna today, according to a pair of press releases.

He’ll be holding a rally in Kamloops at the Red Beard Cafe on the North Shore in Kamloops, running from noon to 1 p.m., along with local candidates Donovan Cavers and Dan Hines.

It'll be followed up in Kelowna at 3 p.m. when Weaver and Kelowna Lake Country candidate Dr. Alison Shaw will speak at the Best Western Polus Kelowna Hotel and Suites. Other Green party candidates will be in attendance. Weaver's itenerary also includes going to the Kelowna Rockets hockey game in the evening.
