Looking for a forever home; Vernon SPCA pet of the week

VERNON – Polly is a very sweet and smart girl who has so much potential!

Polly will be best suited with an active family who has the time to continue her basic training and build up her confidence. She can come across shy at first, however once you get to know her she is very loyal, loving and very playful like a puppy!

Polly will do best with positive reinforcement training to help her become more outgoing and less fearful. She enjoys going for long off leash hikes, and getting lots of exercise!

She loves food and treats and is learning new commands, such as shake a paw, sit and stay! Polly's ideal home would be someone who is very patient and has the time to devote to making her the best dog she can be!

Polly would also do well with a canine companion to help her come out of her shell and see how things are done! Because of Polly's shy side, we think she would do best in a home with no young children.

Polly's Animal ID is 429336
