TORONTO – Danny Koevermans’ comeback for Toronto FC may be delayed slightly.
The Dutch striker, who has been out for more than 10 months due to knee surgery, has tweaked his other knee.
Manager Ryan Nelsen says it is not serious but Koevermans is doubtful for Saturday’s game against the visiting Philadelphia Union.
The designated player has not practised the last two days.
Koevermans had hoped to make his return on the weekend. He has not played since tearing up his knee last July in New England.
