Rashad Evans respects Henderson, but still ready to battle at UFC 161

WINNIPEG – Rashad Evans says it will be crazy looking across the cage at Dan Henderson, a veteran fighter he has modelled some of his moves after.

But Evans is still predicting a win Saturday at UFC 161 in Winnipeg.

The Evans-Henderson fight has been moved to the main event slot after injuries forced a couple of cancellations.

The fight at MTS Centre is still officially sold out and UFC president Dana White says they’re trying to free up a few more tickets.

White says he’s also happy Canada passed a law this month to legalize mixed martial arts and allow for provincial rules.

He says it will help expand the sport in Canada.
