Bruins forward Nathan Horton expected to play in Game 2 of Stanley Cup final
CHICAGO – Boston Bruins right-winger Nathan Horton will play in Game 2 of the Stanley Cup final.
“I think I’m in. I’m ready to go,” Horton said after taking part in Saturday’s morning skate at United Center. He did rushes with linemates Milan Lucic and David Krejci.
Horton left Game 1 against the Chicago Blackhawks with an upper-body injury.
He was considered “day-to-day” by coach Claude Julien, but said he was feeling good and had no doubt he would play.
Horton has seven goals and 11 assists in these playoffs.
