US Geological Service reports strong 6.5 magnitude earthquake off Nicaragua coast

MEXICO CITY – The U.S. Geological Service says a strong 6.5-magnitude earthquake has been registered off the Pacific coast of Nicaragua.

There were no immediate reports of damage or injuries.
