Booze believed to be factor in 28-year-old man’s death on B.C. highway:police

TERRACE, B.C. – Police are investigating the death of a man whose car rolled over on Highway 13, about 80 kilometres north of Terrace, B.C.

RCMP Sgt. Pamela Hart says alcohol is believed to be a factor in the single-vehicle crash that claimed the life of the 28-year-old man at about 2 a.m. Saturday.

She says the driver and his two passengers were travelling at the north end Lava Lake when the vehicle left the road.

A female was seriously injured and airlifted to a hospital in Vancouver.

The male passenger was taken to a hospital in Terrace.
