
Penticton RCMP investigating motorcycle theft
PENTICTON – Penticton RCMP are investigating two cases of motorcycle theft.
Cpl. Don Wrigglesworth says last Tuesday, June 6, members of the Penticton RCMP Targeted Enforcement Unit attended a property on the Arawana Forestry Road, where the resident was known to them, to find a Yamaha dirt bike reported stolen from the Creston area on Sept. 24, 2016.
On June 12, a Lawrence Avenue resident reported two motorcycles stolen from his unlocked garage. The keys were in the motorcycles; a 2008 Kawasaki KLR 650 and a Honda CRF 150F.
Police investigations continue into both incidents. No arrests have been made.
