Kamloops man dies after motorcycle crash near Knutsford

KAMLOOPS – A 32-year-old Kamloops man is dead after crashing his motorcycle on a Kamloops highway yesterday evening.

Kamloops RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Jodi Shelkie says officers received the call around 6:30 p.m. yesterday, June 22, for a single-vehicle motorcycle crash.

Shelkie says the man died at the scene. The crash happened on Highway 5A at Cardu Hill.

The cause of the crash is not yet known, but RCMP traffic analysts and the B.C. Coroners Service are investigating.

A witness to the crash says the motorcycle went off the highway on a curve.
