The trailer full of canoes has been found.
RCMP Const. Cheryl Bush says a radio listener heard about the theft and called the detachment. The trailer was found abandoned near the place it was taken from.
An investigation into the matter is ongoing.

KAMLOOPS – A trailer loaded with canoes was stolen from a home on Parkcrest Avenue.
The RCMP say the owner noticed the canoes were gone Sept. 5 and believes they were taken sometime overnight or during that day.
The trailer is green and about 20 feet long and eight feet high. It was loaded with four yellow canoes and one white canoe when it disappeared.
Anyone with information can contact Kamloops RCMP at 250-828-3000 or call Crime Stoppers.
