
Montana earthquakes rattle B.C. Southern Interior
A series of earthquakes near Lincoln, Montana were felt all the way up to Southern B.C.
The magnitude 5.8 rumbles were felt in Montana, Southern B.C. and Alta., according to Environment Canada.
Officials recorded the first shakes at 6:30 a.m. today, July 6, going as far as 13.6 km into the earth.
Some people who felt the earthquakes took to social media to share experiences.
I guess there was an #earthquake last night just south of us. Felt it up here in #Lethbridge, #Alberta #Canada !

People in Washington and Canada even felt tremors, super crazy! Not normal for this region of Montana to have this size of an earthquake.
