Power outage affecting customers on south west of Okanagan Lake

PEACHLAND – Over 4,000 customers are currently without power between Peachland and West Kelowna.

B.C. Hydro crews are on site right now, and expect to have power coming back around 6 p.m. according to their website. The outage covers part of West Kelowna, Peachland and an area west of Summerland.

The outage, which was reported around 12:00 p.m. today, July 16, was caused by an object on the power lines. A total of 4,062 customers are affected, according to the the website.
