LAVAL, Que. – Egor Sokolov scored to lift Belleville over the Laval Rocket 6-2 in the American Hockey League on Friday, the Senators’ third consecutive win.
Jake Lucchini, Cedric Pare, Cole Reinhardt, Matthew Wedman and Chris Wilkie also scored for the Senators (7-8-0-0), who rattled off four unanswered goals before the Rocket responded with their second of the night.
Dillon Heatherington had four assists, while Senators goalie Mads Sogaard made 32 saves on 34 shots.
Tobi Bisson and Corey Schueneman scored for the Rocket (7-7-1-0).
The two teams face off again Saturday in Belleville.
