PENTICTON – Penticton RCMP are seeking public assistance in finding the driver of vehicle that crashed into a Naramata garage and left the scene.
Police spokesperson Cpl. Don Wrigglesworth says police responded to a residence in the 1200 block of Smethurst Road on July 29 after a report of a vehicle collision.
Police arrived at the scene to find the vehicle and its driver had fled the location after failing to make a turn and smashing into a garage and a 2017 BMW.
RCMP have few details regarding the vehicle involved, and are asking anyone who might have information about the crash to call the RCMP at: 250 -492-4300, or Crime Stoppers at: 1-800-222-8477.
