TORONTO – Calling all TV junkies, exhibitionists, schemers and clowns: Auditions are set for the second season of “Big Brother Canada.”
Shaw Media says open casting calls will be held in Vancouver on Sept. 8, Edmonton on Sept. 14, Halifax on Sept. 20, St. John’s, N. L. on Sept. 21, Montreal on Sept. 27 and Toronto on Oct. 19.
Canadians 19 years and older are also invited to apply online at www.bigbrothercanada.ca, where they can submit a short video expressing why they should be chosen. Hopefuls have until Oct. 25 to apply.
Those who make the cut will live in the “Big Brother Canada” house, which is outfitted with cameras and microphones to capture their every move.
Each week, the houseguests must compete in a series of challenges and vote each other out until one claims the grand prize.
The second season of “Big Brother Canada” is slated to air in 2014 on Slice.
