Plane from Ireland makes emergency landing at US airport due to threat

PHILADELPHIA – A plane from Ireland has made an emergency landing at a U.S. airport because of an unspecified threat.

A spokeswoman for Philadelphia International Airport says officials don’t have any details about the threat or where the flight was originally going.

Philadelphia police say emergency officials are meeting the plane and passengers are going to be taken off the jet to be screened.
