HOUSTON, B.C. – The RCMP say a small marijuana-grow operation may be linked to an explosion that killed a man in northern B.C.
The explosion happened shortly before noon on Sunday, when a shed behind a home in Houston, about 1,000 kilometres north of Vancouver, blew up.
The Mounties say a man who was burned in the explosion later died in hospital.
A news release says the cause is still under investigation, but it appears there was a small marijuana grow operation inside the shed.
The name of the victim has not been released.
