Condit, Kampmann both make weight ahead of welterweight matchup in Indianapolis

INDIANAPOLIS – Carlos (The Natural Born Killer) Condit and Martin (The Hitman) Kampmann both made weight Tuesday ahead of their welterweight matchup at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.

Condit weighed in at 170.5 pounds while Kampmann tipped the scales at 170.

Their fight Wednesday has implications in the 170-pound division where Condit is ranked second and Kampmann sixth.

Champion Georges St-Pierre of Montreal meets No. 1 contender Johnny (Bigg Rigg) Hendricks at UFC 167 in November.

On the same Las Vegas card, No. 3 Rory (Ares) MacDonald of Montreal faces No. 9 (Ruthless) Robbie Lawler.
