Goodes ties course record with 63 at Shaw Charity Classic on Champions Tour
CALGARY – Mike Goodes shot an 8-under 63 Saturday to take the clubhouse lead at the Shaw Charity Classic.
Goodes had eight birdies over his bogey-free round to move to 9-under 133 through two rounds at the Champions Tour event.
He matched the course record of 63 that was set by first-round leader Rocco Mediate a day earlier.
Goodes had a 70 on Friday after a bogey-double-bogey finish.
Mediate was one under through seven holes on Saturday to sit in a tie for top spot with Goodes.
