Looking for a forever home; Kamloops SPCA pet of the week

KAMLOOPS – Meet Sweetpea, a sweet 6 years young cat looking for her new chance at happiness.

Sweetpea found herself homeless after her previous guardian could no longer keep her, according to the Kamloops SPCA pet profile.

She can be shy and nervous of new situations, initially, but she will warm up quickly. When she does, she is very affectionate.

She may give a little swat when she is scared, however, she is very affectionate and likes to get petted.

Sweetpea has lived with cats, dogs and children before. Her previous owner said she will "tolerated" them so, Sweetpea would prefer a home where she is the only cat. Also, young children might be too much for her but she could definitely like in a home with older children.

Kamloops staff say that "Sweetpea is a very beautiful little girl who will make a loving companion."

Sweetpea is very sweet and if you think would like to add her to the family, come down and visit the shelter, call them at 250-376-7722, email the SPCA at kamloops@spca.bc.ca or visit the website for more information.
