DJ Paul van Dyk: Accounts hacked, racist messages posted
LOS ANGELES – DJ Paul van Dyk says his website and Twitter account were hacked and that he did not write racist messages that were posted Thursday on his Twitter feed.
“The messages posted were deeply offensive and contrary to everything Paul has stood for in his decades-long career,” said a statement from a representative for van Dyk.
The messages were removed soon after they were posted and Van Dyk later tweeted that his “account got hacked, the whole team is working to get it back under control.”
The veteran electronic music artist and producer is best known for such songs as “Another Way,” ”Talking in Grey” and “Face to Face.”
