CBS yanks low-rated freshman sitcom ‘We Are Men’ from schedule, brings back ‘Mike & Molly’

LOS ANGELES, Calif. – CBS is yanking the freshman sitcom “We Are Men” from its schedule.

The Monday night comedy about four bachelors starred Tony Shalhoub, Jerry O’Connell, Kal Penn and Chris Smith. But it failed to gain traction with viewers and is now among the new season’s early ratings casualties.

Starting next Monday, “2 Broke Girls” will replace “We Are Men” in the 8:30 p.m. EDT time slot, with repeats of “The Big Bang Theory” airing at 9 p.m. EDT for two weeks.

On Monday, Nov. 4, the sitcom “Mike & Molly” will return for its fourth-season premiere at 9 p.m. EDT. The series stars Melissa McCarthy and Billy Gardell.
