SURREY, B.C. – Homicide investigators say a man has pleaded guilty to two counts of second-degree murder in the deaths of a man and woman in Langley, B.C.
Police found 34-year-old Brandy Petrie and 20-year-old Avery Levely-Flescher inside a vehicle with gunshot wounds in September 2017.
Both people died of their injuries and police said 21-year-old Travis MacPhail was arrested a short distance from the crime scene.
The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team said in a statement Thursday that MacPhail pleaded guilty to the charges on Tuesday.
