
Police seek witnesses in brutal assault at Penticton night club
PENTICTON – Penticton RCMP are seeking witnesses to a vicious assault that took place over the weekend.
Police were called to The Mule nightclub in the early morning hours of Sunday, Dec. 10 around closing time to find an unconscious 30-year-old man bleeding from the mouth on the dance floor.
The man was taken to hospital by B.C. Ambulance personnel where he was believed to have been treated for a fractured jaw.
The man has since been released from hospital.
Police are analyzing video and interviewing security personnel as investigation into the incident continues.
Police spokesperson Cpl. Ted Manchulenko says police are seeking any witnesses that were at the night club during the incident.
