Two men questioned by police after shots were fired in Surrey, B.C.

SURREY, B.C. – The RCMP say two people who were arrested Wednesday remain in custody after a targeted attack on a home in Surrey, B.C.

Three people were picked up shortly after 6:30 p.m. after shots were fired in the Bridgeview neighbourhood.

No one was hurt but in a news release police say a dark-coloured vehicle without lights sped from the scene.

The RCMP say officers pulled over a vehicle in the same area and a man in his 30s and another in his 40s were held, while a third person in the vehicle was released.

There were 38 incidents where shots were fired in Surrey in 2018, which police say was a 36 per cent decrease from 2017.
