Telus reports 13 per cent increase in adjusted Q3 earnings, beats estimate

VANCOUVER – Telus Corp. (TSX:T) reports its adjusted profit jumped to $365 million in the third quarter, up 13 per cent from a year earlier and better than analyst estimates. On a per-share basis, Telus had 58 cents per share of adjusted earnings — two cents better than the estimate. The Vancouver-based telecom company’s revenue was up 3.6 per cent from last year, rising by $100 million to $1.87 billion.
