Suspect arrested and charged in hit-and-run death of Kelowna teenager

A 30-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the killing of a Kelowna teenager last fall in a hit and run.

Tristan Seeger, 15, was run over and killed by a car at the intersection of Franklin Road and Houghton Road in Kelowna's Rutland neighbourhood, Oct 21, 2023.

At the time, investigators said the teenager was hit by a vehicle and taken to hospital in critical condition where he died from his injuries. Police also said the collision was associated to a nearby earlier incident involving a group of teens where a number of people were bear sprayed.
