Encana Corp. (TSX:ECA). Oil and gas. Down three cents, or 0.23 per cent, to $13.16 on eight million shares.
B2Gold Corp. (TSX:BTO). Miner. Down six cents, or 1.53 per cent, to $3.86 on 7.9 million shares.
Kinross Gold Corp. (TSX:K). Miner. Down 15 cents, or 2.65 per cent, to $5.50 on 6.7 million shares.
Yamana Gold Inc. (TSX:YRI). Miner. Down three cents, or 0.60 per cent, to $4.95 on 6.2 million shares.
Baytex Energy Corp. (TSX:BTE). Oil and gas. Down four cents, or 0.80 per cent, to $4.95 on 5.3 million shares.
ECN Capital Corp. (TSX:ECN). Financial Services. Down four cents, or 1.44 per cent, to $2.73 on 4.2 million shares.

Bombardier Inc. (TSX:BBD.B). Aerospace, rail equipment. Down four cents, or 2.20 per cent, to $1.78 on 3.3 million shares. One of Bombardier’s largest Canadian rail customers has threatened to cancel a contract over continued delays in delivering a prototype train in Toronto, handing another blow to the beleaguered company. Metrolinx ramped up pressure on Bombardier by issuing a formal notice of intent to terminate its $770-million contract after the company missed a commitment to deliver a prototype by the end of last month.
Fortis Inc. (TSX:FTS). Utilities. Up 57 cents, or 1.33 per cent, to $43.35 on 933,374 shares. Fortis says expenses related to its acquisition of U.S.-based ITC Holdings ate into its third quarter profit. The multinational utility company, headquartered in St. John’s, N.L., had $127 million or 45 cents of net income attributable to common shareholders in the three months ended Sept. 30. That was down from $151 million, or 54 cents per common share, for the third quarter of 2015.
