TORONTO – Jurors at the Ashley Smith inquest are expected to deliver their verdict on Thursday.
Smith, 19, of Moncton, N.B., choked to death in her segregation cell in Kitchener, Ont., six years ago.
The five women jurors began hearing testimony in January.
The hearing wrapped up last month and the coroner, Dr. John Carlisle, charged the jury just under two weeks ago.
The December 19th date, according to coroner’s officials, is tentative and could change.
